Try Windsurfing Day

Toronto Amateur Sailing club is hosting a try sailing day with the Mountaineering club. The participants will get a 3 hour lesson on the basics of windsuring with the first hour covering theory and the last two hours in the water practicing skills. 

Start time is 9am but we need to be at the sailing club around 8:45 to be ready to start. It would also be ideal to carpool because there is limited free parking at the location. 

No previous experience is required! Just come along to learn new skills and have fun. Everyone will need to bring:

• Sun safety (hat, sunscreen etc.)
• Water shoes or shoes you dont mind getting wet.
• Swimmers and a rashshirt or something to cover you from the sun.
• Water and Lunch. There are shops with hot food within walking distance. 

Life jackets will be provided. 

Due to COVID we ask that you do not attend if:

• You are awaiting a COVID-19 test result
• You have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days
• You have been in Victoria or in contact with someone who was in Victoria in the last 14 days
• You have been overseas in the last 14 days
• You have or have had ANY infectious disease in the last 14 days (dealing with other illnesses increases the risk of having serious complications from COVID-19)
• You are immuno-compromised or have contact with anyone who is immuno-compromised
