Williams River Walk 23/10/2018

Tue, 23 Oct 2018
08:30 - 19:30

Beginner's trip - Williams river walk - TOMORROW (Tuesday, 23rd)

Have 3 spots left in my car, and can take another 3 people if someone else with a car signs up. Sign up by commenting on this post, but read the rest first.

No experience necessary but you do need to be reasonable fit and coordinated. We will be walking most of the day, and most of that will be across slippery rocks like in the first photo. The rest will be bush, or sections of canyon like in the second photo. You also need to be a confident swimmer, the longest swimming section is about 15m. Also there is a rock slide into a pool.

The trip is the same as https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/…/…/rocky-crossing-walk except we come back down the river instead of on the track.

The forecast for tomorrow is a high of 30 degrees and 5% chance of less than 1mm rain.
